ABOUT ME

I have been surrounded by different languages and immersed in different cultures throughout my life. As a dual citizen of Switzerland and Germany, I grew up speaking German and French and feel at home in two cultures. I have spent several extensive periods of time living in English and Spanish-speaking countries which have not only allowed me to continually expand and improve on my language skills, but also to develop a deep appreciation and enthusiasm for inter-cultural communication. I decided to pursue this passion as a career. After studying the French and Spanish language at university in Berlin and then going on to train and qualify as a conference interpreter in Cologne, today I work as a freelance interpreter and translator in my new home city, Berlin.
